It’s no secret that we love the Italian way of cooking and eating, it is a constant inspiration to us! The Italian Canteen has always been one of our most popular Supper Clubs and we're super excited to be able to squeeze in another chance to present quite possibly our last 'Canteen' of the year! 

Summer is here and there are some wonderful ingredients available - as always we’ll be serving them up deliciously simply.

You’ll also be able to book seats ‘Up On The Roof’ for pre dinner drinks from our outdoor cocktail bar from 5pm-7pm - just be sure to let us know if you’d like to join us early! There may also be an option - depending on the weather to pop back upstairs for a little after dinner tipple as well!

We’ll be pouring Italian classics, garden cocktails and some extra special wines to guarantee a most delightful Summertime evening at our place…

Mowbray-made focaccia (v, g)

Seafood antipasti; Boquerone anchovies, crevettes, grilled & marinated squid with gremolata 

For our vegetarian guests...

Marinated artichokes & house-preserved tomatoes with rocket and toasted seeds

Gnudi & Guianciale: Ricotta dumplings with house-cured & smoked pork cheek, finished with spinach & Grana Padano

Sirloin steak tagliata - Chargrilled Yorkshire beef dressed with rocket, basil, shaved parmesan and extra virgin olive oil

For our vegetarian guests...

Fresh pasta - with a tomato & mascarpone sauce, finished with shaved rocket, parmesan & extra virgin olive oil (v, g) & Ricotta dumplings finished with spinach & Grana Padano

‘Patate al forno’ - potato gratin with lemon, garlic & rosemary (v)

Chargrilled broccoli with red chilli, garlic & lemon (v)

To Finish

Amaretti Tiramisu - our classic house tiramisu made with Mow’s Coffee spiked with Lazzaroni Amaretto liqueur topped with crushed amaretti biscuits! (v, g, n)
