An Exceptionally Tasty Supper Club! 

On Friday 12th of April we’ve gone all out on a magnificent feast with all of the fresh flavours - balanced with delicate notes and tones - wrapped up in a beautiful seasonal menu with exceptional ingredients. 

We start with Chaat - our interpretation of Southern Indian Kitchen snacks or starters which warms us up to the main event - Tandoor - starring a fantastic Yorkshire Lamb leg marinated in spiced Longley buttermilk, and chargrilled on the bone, tandoori style. 

This menu is for everyone who is looking forward to fresh seasonality and beautiful flavours. Served as a resplendent feast for your booking - we’re literally counting the days down to this one! 

The Feast

ON THE TABLE

Chargrilled coconut flatbreads (v, g)

Toasted cumin raita (v)

Bhel Puri; a crunchy salad of chopped summer cucumbers, tomatoes & onions, crispy rice & cashews - dressed with green chilli, coriander & tamarind chutney (v, g contains nuts)

Plaice or Sole pakoras; a sustainably chosen white fish in a spiced batter with ginger & garlic

Vegetable pakoras for our vegetarian/vegan guests

These dishes will remain on your table as the main course is served!

THE MAIN EVENT

Yorkshire lamb leg, marinated in spiced Longley buttermilk, and chargrilled on the bone, tandoori style. With chettinad curry sauce; fragrant with sweet spice masala, tomatoes & grated coconut

Or for our vegetarian guests; Tandoori cauliflower with chettinard sauce (v)

SIDES TO SHARE

Seasonal greens with garlic pickle dressing & toasted almonds (v, ve, contains nuts)

Gunpowder potatoes; British potatoes roasted with ghee, cumin & coriander, tossed with fresh coriander, spring onions and lime (v)

TO FINISH

Chai spiced custard tart with dried fruits steeped on tea (v, g)

The Bar

As ever - The Mowbray Bar has curated a clutch of specialist cocktails designed to complement the feasting menu. We’ll also have our full bar menu available as well. 

How To Book

Arrivals are from 18.30 if you’d like to start early at the bar! 

We’ll be inviting you to take your seats for dinner at 19.30 - with the Feast beginning at 19.45. 

Just let us know if you’ll be joining us early - otherwise we’ll see you from 19.00.
